Holy Priest

Tank-focused direct healing with Renew, Heal and Flash Heal, plus Prayer of Mending and Prayer of Healing for groups.

Updated

Best in slot gear for Holy Priest in WoW: Forever, slot by slot, with alternatives and where each item comes from. Item names link to Wowhead’s Forever database.

Basis: WoW: Forever is built on a classic level-60 game with modern spells and systems mixed in. The closed beta was capped at level 30, so level-60 details are still being confirmed. Based on beta data; will be updated as Forever details are confirmed.

Later phases: the first raids (Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia’s Lair) are planned for 9 December 2026 according to wowtbc.gg. No loot from those raids has been confirmed yet, so there is no raid BiS here. This page will be updated when it is.

Phase 1

Level 60 launch (provisional, Wowhead)

  • Pending

Many level-60 items were hidden (obfuscated) during the beta, and Wowhead says the list will change once more is discovered at launch. Raid tier set bonuses seen in the beta are placeholders, so they are not used here. Based on beta data; will be updated as Forever details are confirmed.

Wowhead has not published level-60 item picks for Holy Priest yet; its planner is a placeholder until max-level gear is discovered. Until then, use the levelling list below and the stat priority on the rotation page.

No picks for this list yet. It will be filled in once the items are confirmed.

Levelling

Beta levels 20 to 30 (wowtbc.gg)

  • 60 items
  • 15 slots
  • Available

Ranked picks from wowtbc.gg for the beta level range (items around level 20 to 30). wowtbc.gg uses one healer weighting, so these lists are nearly the same for every healing spec, filtered by the armour each class can wear. Useful while levelling; not a level-60 list.
